Well we finally arrived

Finally here. 

Hatzic is awesome. 

Now on our second day here, things are starting to tidy up and we are really enjoying. Jonas is acting like he never left the place. But a bit impatient waiting for his cousins and Ryan. 

We did a surprise stop by at Ryan's house. They both just ran inside and played just like they saw each other yesterday. Just a bit more exited. I think we left the family in a bit of a shock ;)

 

We had a nice stay in Amsterdam. Had a hotel close to a really nice park. Jonas got to play and swim. Rented a bike too. Jonas loved it. Such a nice day. 

Yesterday we cleaned out the cabin. Went swimming in the nice new pool. I'm sure we are gonna spend a few hours there 

Then we had a sushi feast with Cathy :)

Shrimps

Eric and I were gonna have a late dinner last night, but it got too late and we desided to do it for breakfast.

They taste soooo delicious! Jonas loved it too. Had GF knekkebrød there and he didn't even ask for it.

Johan always hangs out with us on the table now. Gotta get him used to family eating time :) it's some of my favorite times. When we all sit down and eat together. Talk and are together

Got to take a little trip into town to day and meet up with one of Erics friends at the Oppdal museum. 

Lots of very nice old Norwegian stuff. Appreciated the tour. 

Recomend people to visit local places around where you live. It's kinda neat to see and hear history. 

Jonas was not very impressed, but the timing game works woders.  Making him run around buildings counting how fast he runs :) love that game. 

Johan is doing really well these days too. Here a little nap in the carrier on mommys chest. The safest place on earth right now :)

Perfect way to share a meal. 

First of all of course with good friends.

But Raclett everybody brings something and then you grill up what ever you want. Takes time to do but makes for more talk to good people :) and eating slow is nice. Also it's a good way to have good leftovers for a totally different meal. 

Did some more archery tonight too.

24 mistakes people make on a paleo diet. 

Was reading this today and I can totally say I've been slacking and doing several of these mistakes on the last while. I still think I'm doing ok, but can't say I've been strict with my paleo. 

But getting more and more back into it now.

Here is a picture if our fantastic dinner 

Moose steak in garlic onion and olive oil. 

Fried in lots of butter, making a delicious gravy

Potatoes pre boiled then cooled down again. Think I remember being told that that process "kills" some of the starch stuff that is bad for us.... Without being 100% sure in remembering correctly. I basically just remember it was a better way of eating potatoes if eating them at all. 

So gonna try to skim down my mistakes. 

Feel so much better when I'm on track

Forgetmenots were one of my moms favorite flowers

Today it's been 12 years since the most amazing mom had to give in to the Lupus. We all miss you so much. 

So much I wish I could tell you, wish I could pick up the phone and call you. See what you are up to, ask you questions only a mom can answer. 

Here is a picture how I best remember you mom. With a loving smile. Always smiling. Even when times were tough.

Sun=Happiness

Life gets so much happier with good weather and sunshine. Got some time to suntan while Johan was napping and Jonas in barnehagen. And he had a sleepover at our wonderful neighbor so I just got to have one kid for the morning. Walked to pick him up. Got some chill time inside from the hot sun. Then a nice burger BBQ on the deck.

And to finish it off I got a few hours off hiking up Hovden. Feels awesome to be able to do that again :) 

Life is fun :D
