Choosing my sugar, know where it is?

Do you know when yo are eating sugar? Did you know that most sandwich meats has sugar? It won't actually say sugar, it will say fructose or dextrose or some other name for sugar.
In norwegian we say "Kjœrt barn har mange navn" A loved child has many names... does not make the same sense in english, but I hope you get the picture.

I am not 100% of sugar, but I also like to choose to have sugar when I want to. I don't like eating meat and thinking..
- oh I'm eating healthy, but no!!
Sugar is hidden in so many foods. Pretty much all processed food had some form of sugar in it. Making us addicted. And craving more of their food. It's all about the money.
If I want to have chocolate ( rarely under 86%, but it happens. I do like Lindt chili ) at least I am well aware that I am eating sugar and I am making the choice to do it. I am not letting the food industry fool me into believing I am eating a healthy, "home cooked" meal. Full of sugar and starches.
When I buy food now I read all labels. Or let's say I used to real all labels, now for most of the time I know what is in everything.
Making tacos is one example. Make your own spice mix, it really does take no effort what so ever. When you buy the prepared spice mix...well you get the picture...SUGAR!!
Why do I need sugar on my taco meat?
So again I prefer to choose when to eat my sugar.
Meat NO SUGAR
Veggies NO added sugar
Fruit well then I make the choice to eat natural sugar coming from the fruit, not sugar made from fruit. Where you get a lot more then what is in the one fruit I eat
For most of the time I stay away from sugar all together as it makes me itchy all over.

But people look at the label when you shop.

Here are some of the things you might find on your label

  • sucrose
  • fructose
  • glucose
  • dextrose
  • galactose
  • lactose
  • maltose
  • invert sugar
  • raw sugar
  • turbinado sugar
  • brown sugar
  • confectioner's sugar
  • granulated sugar
  • corn syrup
  • high-fructose corn syrup

for more names if you want.

MAKE THE CHOICE FOR YOUR SELF DONT LET THE FOOD INDUSTRY DESIDE FOR YOU.
